Seamlessly integrating indoor and outdoor living spaces.

California

Set under the lush Eucalyptus canopy of Laurel Canyon, this 1956 California Modernist home fully embodies indoor-outdoor living. Originally a single story Ranch, this house was transformed by re-imagining access to the outdoor spaces and expanding the home to fit the needs of a growing family. Floor to ceiling windows and an expansive skylight were added, which fully embrace the concept of living amongst the trees. The palette is a juxtaposition of warm and cool, with inviting red cedar cladding paired against concrete and natural stone to create a relaxing and elegant interior.
