Burlingame Legoretta
Mexican-Modernist home reconceptualized into an indoor-outdoor enclave.
Honoring the heritage of the original architecture.
California
Originally designed by Mexican Modernist architect Ricardo Legorreta, this 8,000 square foot home received a total renovation. With sights set on transitioning the property into a sprawling indoor-outdoor retreat, the design honors the heritage of the architecture while giving way to a more conducive layout—specifically one that showcases the client’s vast collection of contemporary art.
